Linda Fenstermaker, Red Heron, 2012, 16mm to digital transfer, silent

Red Heron is an exploration of embodiment through the act of filming the self. It consists of multiple improvisational performances in front of the camera in different spaces, as an illustration of how a performing body becomes part of the space around. The landscape mirrors the way a filmmaker can become part of the film through the camera and performance.
